DHARMANANDA (UDI MAIMON)

Dharmananda, a Pisces who was born in Israel in 1977, discovered Agama Yoga in 2001. He continued his practice more seriously in 2003, the year he joined the mind-blowing Kashmiri Shaivism Workshop presented by Swami Vivekananda Saraswati in Amorgos, Greece. This workshop changed his life and way of looking upon spirituality and Yoga practice, and he will be forever grateful to Swami and God for those three weeks that transformed his life completely.

A year later Dharmananda began leading the Laya Yoga meditations in Koh Phangan and by 2005 he became a full Yoga teacher. In his free time, he continued practicing the wonderful techniques he learned in the Kashmiri Shaivism Workshop, mainly the practice of bhavana which generates the powerful rising of Kundalini toward the crown chakra. In 2008, he started leading meditation retreats based mostly on the Shaivism teachings that inspired him throughout recent years.

Motivated to help others step out of darkness and realize the beauty and love that Agama Yoga can offer people around the world, Dharmananda spends his time teaching and practicing mainly Kundalinii Yoga and the Kashmiri Shaivism methods which fit so well with our modern lives. These Tantric teachings demonstrate that people can still enjoy all the beautiful things in life while practicing Yoga and meditation and reaching high states of consciousness.
