NAOMI GIBB

New Zealand native Naomi, an Aries, first heard about Agama Yoga when she was traveling in India in 2002. This unlocked a deep desire within her to learn more about Tantra, Yoga, and the mysterious Kundalini.

Following this desire, she began studying from many different teachers and sources, and eventually she become a Kundalini Yoga teacher in the Yogi Bhajan tradition.

In 2006, she finally crossed paths with Agama Yoga when Swami Vivekananda came to Vancouver, the city to which she had immigrated. She was immediately hooked by Swami’s expansive knowledge of Tantra, Yoga, and Kundalini and saw how his teachings could bring all her interests together into one comprehensive, integrated whole.

The rest, as they say, is history. In January 2007, she went to Thailand and studied the First-Level Intensive program and, in 2008, she joined the Agama Teacher Training Course to become an Agama Yoga instructor. From there, she began teaching, first in Dharamsala and Rishikesh (India), then on Koh Phangan (Thailand) and in Vancouver (Canada). She is presently studying the Kundalini program, a more advanced phase of the Agama curriculum.

Naomi brings her love of Yoga to her teaching and is passionate about helping students connect to their inner truth, consciousness, and bliss.
