MONIKA REIMANN

Monika, a Scorpio, grew up in a village in the Swiss Alps, surroundings that inspired her to live most naturally with the Earth’s rhythms. Her caring and nurturing nature led her into the field of nursing where she could offer herself in service to others.

Blessed with an understanding of living in harmony with Creation, her curiosities began to pull her to all corners of the globe in search of the Divine Mystery…. Monika, ever responsive to the call of the heart, was eventually guided to India in 2006 where she first encountered the Agama teachings and – due to her fascination – stayed in Rishikesh to complete the First Level Intensive Course. Although she had studied various forms of Yoga previously, it was clear that the Agama system was ideal.

She then went to Thailand to check out the Agama headquarters and has been based there for the majority of time ever since. In 2010 Monika completed the Kundalini Program (Level 24) and continues with her Advanced Studies in the ancient tradition of Kashmiri Shaivism, which offers her both a depth of knowledge and a meditative practice rooted in personal experience. She feels that consciousness itself is the most nourishing substance in Creation.

Monika began teaching in Thailand in 2010 and considers this experience a great gift in her life, bringing her much inspiration and an expansion of love. She is very thankful for her teachers and all the jewels she has received.
