MIHAIELA PENTIUC

Mihaiela is a centered teacher, a sensible woman, and the leader of our Shakti Group (special tantric teaching intended for women).

She took an interest in Yoga at an early age, practicing from books by herself beginning at the age of 14. In 1990, she joined a Yoga school in her native Romania, and in 1994 began teaching there. In the year 2000, she joined the Agama teaching staff in Rishikesh, India, and has since also taught in Thailand, Israel, Singapore, and Switzerland.

Mihaiela, a Virgo, is educated as a medical doctor specializing in rehabilitation, sports medicine, and physiotherapy. While completing medical school, she was continually sustained by the great ideal of a spiritual life perfectly integrated within the social environment.

In all these years of Yoga practice Mihaiela has learned a lot about body and soul, metaphysics and daily life, womanliness and its real place in this mysterious play of the Universal Consciousness. She considers her greatest achievement to be the lessons about love. "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:13)
