Lodewijk (Louie) Scholtens

Lodewijk, fondly known as Louie to his friends, is a Sagittarius originally from the Netherlands. As a little boy he was already interested in the paranormal and mystical facets of life, and spent a great deal of time outdoors discovering the secrets of nature.

When he grew up, he studied International Business and Law at the Universities of Utrecht and Maastricht in the Netherlands. But after that, he returned to his passion: finding the truths of life…. He began traveling and during those travels met a lot of teachers and attended many different workshops and retreats. However, when his feet and heart brought him to Thailand and he attended a workshop with Swami Vivekananda Saraswati, he felt immediately that he was at the right spot. A few months later, in the winter of 2010, he completed the Agama Teacher Training Course and, upon graduation, he began teaching Yoga worldwide.

Louie often visits Agama in Thailand to follow courses that expand his knowledge and practice. He is currently teaching in the Netherlands.
