Kristof, an Aquarius, was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1972. Although he grew up in the city he always felt very close to nature and spent as much time as possible hiking in the mountains and forests of Austria. Since an early age he was fascinated by the mystical and paranormal.

At 23, he left Austria and traveled extensively around the world. On his travels, he studied many different spiritual traditions and practices, and began to compare them, thinking that if there is "one truth," it must be contained in all spiritual systems.

In 1995, he went to India for the first time and immediately fell in love with the spirit of the country. He started to practice Yoga and made himself familiar with a few Yoga systems before he found Swami Vivekananda in Rishikesh in 2001. He was immediately captivated by Swami’s capability to connect all the bits of "loose information" in so many realms and draw one big, synthesized picture within the spiritual dimension and life in general. Kristof continued studying and practicing with Agama and, in autumn of 2005, began teaching in Rishikesh.

He loves that the school teaches a wide variety of techniques so that everybody can find a practice that suits him or her. At the moment he is greatly enjoying the Kundalini program and is inspired by his practice with the Mahavidyas (Cosmic Powers).
