Katalin, an Aries, finished her degree in Psychology at ELTE University of Hungary as a cognitive science researcher. Nevertheless, her life took a different turn due to events resulting from a foreign scholarship in 1999. That year she put on so much weight that her interests turned toward the study and treatment of eating disorders. The solution to her own personal problems helped put her on track to developing a new system which uses food as a tool in psychotherapy. In 2001, she established an eating therapy institute, Angels’ Kitchen, in Budapest.
She believes that which brings physiological expression and function to one’s consciousness to be the most effective path of self-knowledge. Besides her interests in food and hunger as fundamental drives in humans, recently she became involved in a form of dance movement, NIA, which has a holistic background as Yoga does. Her wish is to integrate it to her work and life.
In 2002, Kata discovered Tantric Yoga studies, which led her on the path toward the life and attitude of a yogi, with emphasis on the development of the being. Since then, she has practiced and studied in this style of Yoga.
In 2008, Kata graduated from the Agama Yoga Teacher Training Course in Thailand.
