Harry, a Gemini, first encountered Agama Yoga in 2002 in Rishikesh, India.
The teachings changed his life, but at that time he had commitments in his native Greece. However, upon hearing about the first-ever Agama Teacher Training Course (ATTC) in spring, 2005, Harry was one of the nine eager students who arrived within weeks of the announcement for that historic course and thus one of the very first ATTC graduates. With his typical unbridled enthusiasm, he began teaching immediately following graduation.
Back on Koh Phangan for teachings in 2006, he and fellow ATTC classmate Ingrid Goudsmit became the first “low season teaching team” at Agama, keeping the school open single-handedly from August to December for the first time ever. (Previously, the school had closed during this time, which overlapped the monsoon season.) Now Agama teachings in Levels 1, 2, and 3 are held year-round nonstop at our headquarters location.
Harry has since been teaching in Greece, Turkey, and Thailand, as well as nurturing one of his life’s greatest passions: music composition. He is very grateful to Swami Vivekananda for the spiritually fulfilling opportunity to teach this very beautiful and special Yoga.
