Eva Gal, an Aquarius with three children, worked in many jobs in her native Hungary, including foreign trade positions, games and books editing, and creating a franchise of Reader's Digest in Hungary, at which she was the marketing director for six years.
After burning out from work, in 1996 she went to a sanitorium in Hungary to rest and rejuvenate, and there was introduced to Yoga. She found it so helpful that in only 10 days' time she decided she would devote her life to this kind of work. She opened her own health center and sanitorium, and while acting as director learned a lot about Yoga, detox, weight-loss procedures, additional therapies, and other types of healing. She also at this time practiced Yoga heavily, began to exercise a lot, and was introduced to Tantra.
In a quest to learn more, she went to India to go deeper into Tantra Yoga and Ayurveda, and came to Rishikesh for a Yoga teacher training. She ended up not liking this course, but through synchronicities discovered Trika Yoga in Rishikesh, Agama's branch there. She loves the focus on the energetic effects of Yoga – this changed her in a very short time. She also loves the structure of the curriculum, how it goes deeper and deeper.
In 2008, Eva was already instrumental in setting up Agama Yoga – Budapest, and in 2009, she graduated from the Agama Teacher Training Course. She is now teaching in Budapest and organizing Agama immersion workshops there.
