Elly is an open-hearted, open-minded Leo, who was born in London, England, in 1978. She had her first contact with Yoga at the age of 7 and practiced asanas throughout her childhood.

When she was nearly 18 years old, Elly became more interested in spiritual practices, bodywork, and energy work. She studied and practiced different kinds of massage, healing methods, and Yoga with various teachers. In 2003, she traveled to India to attend a Teachers' Training Course at the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala, and immediately felt at home with the country, people, and spiritual teachings of India. In 2004, she found Swami Vivekananda and the Agama Yoga School in Thailand, and has spent the better part of each year since studying and practicing there and at the Rishikesh branch of the school.

Since early 2006, Elly has been teaching at Agama's Thailand center. She is fascinated by the profoundness and clarity of Swami's teachings and the vibrant aliveness of tantric spirituality.
