Libran Carol, who spent her childhood in West Ireland, has always had a yearning to explore the mysteries of the weird and wonderful world she found herself in.
She discovered the joys of traveling in her teenage years and has been blessed to spend much of her time living and working in many beautiful places. She began learning about Yoga in the United States in 2003 and continued her studies in Ireland, Australia, and later India and Thailand.
During her time spent in India she met many inspiring teachers and feels she added to her outer adventure an even more rewarding inner dimension. She completed a Yoga instructors’ course at SVYASA Yoga University near Bangalore. She has also been enormously inspired by the simple but profound teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, for whom she holds a special place in her heart.
Having studied several styles of Yoga and meditation, Carol was delighted to find a very important missing piece of the puzzle in the teachings of Agama Yoga on Koh Phangan. She decided to complete the Agama Teacher Training Course in early 2009 and, following this, briefly taught on Koh Phangan before heading to Chiang Mai to help run the Agama Yoga branch in that beautiful city.
Through the inspiration of many, many wonderful people in her life and the amazing love and openness she continues to see in people each and every day, Carol has dedicated herself to continuing to learn, grow, and share her aspiration for truth, joy, and peace.
