Alexis, a Capricorn, was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. Throughout his life, he felt that nothing made sense, nothing fit, but he did not know what he was looking for.

Upon hearing Swami Vivekananda speak for the first time, he began to realize there may be a point to life, and more than that, that methods and techniques existed to guide him to this depth of understanding. His entire life then changed immeasurably due to the Yoga course.

Alexis has since devoted himself wholeheartedly to Yoga study and practice, and – since February, 2006 – to teaching, at both Agama's Rishikesh and Thailand centers.
