AWAKENING THE CROWN CHAKRA RETREAT

Many world-renowned retreats have as their purpose the development of higher or pure consciousness, mindfulness, purification of the mind, and spiritual awakening. In Tantric styles of Yoga, all spiritual phenomenology is put in correlation with different energies, the activation, amplification, control, and direction of energies to various energy centers, generally known as chakras. Whether speaking of mindfulness, awareness, compassion/loving-kindness, mental peace and insight, or lucidity, all such states are triggered in Tantric Yoga via precise techniques. This retreat focuses especially upon the crown chakra (sahasrara), which is the premises of higher consciousness, and it provides the Yogic example of working for the highest spiritual goals using energy-based techniques and precise activation of the energy centers in the body.

We believe this retreat compares positively with other methods and retreats for increasing awareness and awakened potential. We hope that participants will find these Yoga-based methods so clear, technically effective, and the whole corpus of practice so alive that they will fall in love with this style and consider adopting it as an exceptional alternative approach to methods of higher meditation.

This retreat will incorporate methods from Kashmir Shaivism, Taraka Yoga, Laya Yoga, Gurdjieff’s methodology, Raja Yoga, and Tibetan Yoga. We will support these approaches with Hatha and Kundalini Yoga and music meditation.
