Agama is very happy to announce its first official branch of teachings in the United States! New teacher Juliette Salas, who graduated from the Teacher Training Course in 2011, brings the Agama teachings to life in Brooklyn and Manhattan, New York City, the bustling cultural and intellectual hub on the US East Coast. As with all Agama teachings, the Hatha Yoga is based on traditional Indian and Tibetan Hatha Yoga and is designed to bring increased clarity and consciousness to our daily lives. Asanas (poses) are held for longer periods with a focus on energy centers (chakras). The classes are both dynamic and meditative and are suitable for beginners and intermediate practitioners alike.

Juliette, who is an English language instructor for diplomatic staff within the United Nations Language Programme, is also now teaching Agama Yoga at the United Nations! Look out, world!
