WELCOME
Bovy Resort is a fairly secluded resort situated right on the beach beside a mixed pine and palm tree forest. With bungalows about 300 m from the road, it is particularly quiet here, and the western view from all bungalows is especially gorgeous.
FACILITIES
Bovy Resort has been the home of Agama Yoga since early 2003, when Swami Vivekananda – scouting out a new location for the school – happened upon this tranquil place and convinced former owner Yui to let us covert her old barn into what became the Green Yoga Hall. For two years, all classes, workshops, and retreats were held at this hall. Beginning in 2005, in conjunction with Bovy, Agama built a second Yoga hall on this land, the Blue Hall, where we now hold all the primary advanced teachings as well as most workshops.
ACCOMMODATION
Bovy Resort is an older resort with mostly simple bamboo bungalows. Three of its bungalow spaces are tiled-floor newer units. Rent begins at 100 Baht (€2) per night for the simple older bungalows, and goes up to 200/250 Baht (€4-5.50) per night for the largest and newest units. Contact Reception in the restaurant area.
